Please Note: Our puppies are sold for pet or service dog capacity type homes only. We do not sell to breeders. We have a strict spay / neuter contract.

PUPPY APPLICATION

In order to purchase one of our puppies, we require a completed Puppy Application. Please fill out our Puppy Application before making your deposit. Upon receipt of your application, we will contact you to discuss timeframe and specific litter.

DEPOSITS

We require a $300 deposit in order to be added to a litter’s waiting list. We do our best to inform you of what you can expect from each litter in terms of appearance as well as timing on our upcoming litters page. Of course, coats vary and change with the age of the puppy, and we can never tell how many males or females may be born in a particular litter.

Deposits are not refundable. However, you will have the choice to move your deposit to another upcoming litter if you wish to wait for a specific sex or color. You may also choose to leave your deposit with us to be added to a wait list for future puppies if your time horizon changes.

Occassionally litters do not get successfully bred, and the waiting time will be longer than expected. In this case, we will offer you a refund, or a chance to move to another litter, or wait for the next successful mating between the pair.

All families on our waiting list have our home number and email address. We value communication with our puppies’ families for the lifetime of our puppies!

MAKE A DEPOSIT

We accept Cash, Certified check, Money order and PayPal for your deposit. We do not accept personal checks. If you wish to mail a money order or certified check, please email us for our mailing address. We do not accept PayPal for the balance.

For your convenience, you may pay your deposit using PayPal. A 3% ($9.00) convenience fee will be added for payment processing.

PUPPY SELECTION

Our puppy selection takes place when the puppies are about 5 weeks old. Visits are scheduled in the order of deposit on the Saturday following your puppy turning 5 weeks old. We will inform you of the selection date and time after the puppies are born so that you can plan your visit in advance. If you are unable to make it on visiting day, we’ll send updated photos to you and help you with the selection process.

Visits are 30 minutes in length, which will give you plenty of time to make your selection, while at the same time, not tiring the puppies out any more than is necessary. All puppies not already spoken for from the litter you are choosing will be available for handling and selection.

***Children must be supervised by their parents at all times. They must be seated when holding the puppies.

***We do not allow other dogs on our property. A “getting to know you” type of situation could result in a puppy being harmed. In addition, we are very careful not to have any diseases brought to our home by another dog/pet.

BALANCE DUE AT 5 WEEKS

The puppy balance is due when the puppy is 5 weeks of age, after you’ve made your selection. This lets us know that families are committed to the puppy that they have chosen so we don’t turn other families away because we are under the impression that the puppy has found its forever home.

PUPPY PICK-UP

Pick-ups are scheduled the Saturday following your puppy turning 8 weeks old.

PUPPY DELIVERY

For your convenience, we offer puppy delivery right to your door to most East Coast states! In general, we charge $0.85 per mile round trip ($1.70 per mile one way.) Visit our Puppy Delivery page for more information about pricing, reservations and scheduling, and our delivery area.

SHIPPING

If you do not live within our delivery area, or you prefer to have your puppy shipped via air, we prefer that you fly in and fly your puppy back with you under the seat. Cargo is a very scary place for a puppy! We will meet you at the Dulles Airport (IAD) with everything you need, including a puppy crate and a health certificate from our veterinarian. Our price for this service is $300.

Please let us know if your puppy will be flying home with you. We’ll need time to make arrangements.

BOARDING

We prefer that puppies are picked up when the puppy is ready for their new home at 8 weeks. 9-12 weeks of age is a critical bonding time for a puppy. Your puppy will also need to continue its series of vaccinations which will be due again at 9 and 12 weeks of age. If you cannot make arrangements to pick up your puppy on the pick-up date, we will board your puppy for you provided we are available to do so. You must discuss this with us in advance.

A $35 per day boarding fee is charged for the care for the dog which is due to be paid in full when you pick up your puppy. We will board your puppy for no more than 2 weeks.

We do understand that things come up and we want to work with you. If for some reason the timing of your new puppy just doesn’t work for you, we will allow you to opt for the next available litter. This may be a better option.

3 YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE

We take great pride in our parent dog selections, and we are confident that they will produce healthy, happy puppies. All of our puppies come with a 3-year genetic health guarantee from date of birth. We guarantee that your puppy will not have life-threatening, crippling, and/or disabling congenital (genetic) health defects or we’ll refund for medical treatment up to the cost of the puppy.
